This qualification develops high level knowledge, skills and competence needed to work in the health and care settings. It contains both mandatory and optional units allowing learners to tailor the qualification to meet their needs, interests, preferred progression paths and the context of their job role.

Who is the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care for?

Care employers: Organisations seeking to upskill their workforce
Current Care or Support Workers: looking to gain a nationally accredited qualification
Those new to care: all those who are aspiring to work in the care sector but with qualifications and experience in other sectors

What you'll study (mandatory units)

Learners must achieve 58 credits: 39 credits from the mandatory units and 19 credits from the optional units.

HSC AS 5: Co-ordinate the use of assistive living technology (4) ** (L 4)
