This Level 2 Award in Supporting Individuals with learning disabilities is a nationally recognised qualification accredited by NCFE CACHE designed for all those interested developing knowledge and skills needed to deliver high quality safe and effective care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.

This qualification requires learners to be working, volunteering or on work experience placement to show competence in both knowledge and skills.

What you'll study (mandatory units)

From the mandatory units 4 credits are required and 8 credits from option units
LD201 Understand the context of support individuals with Learning disabilities (K601/5315) -4 credits
LD202 Support person-centred thinking and planning (L601/6442) - 5 credits
SHC21 Introduction to communication in health, social care or children’s and young people’s settings (F601/5468)- 3 credits
