Developed and supported by the Skills for Care, this qualification is designed to support the development of registered managers of adult social care services. Learners are provided with the knowledge, skills, and competence needed to work in adult social care and to have responsibility for leading and managing a service, including managing and improving care and support for those who access services, supporting and developing the workforce and driving the vision for their service or organisation. It contains both mandatory and optional units allowing learners to tailor the qualification to meet their needs, interests, preferred progression paths and the context of their job role.
Completing this qualification could lead to progression to the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services and job roles such as:

Care Broker
Case Manager
